It had to be the Oysterbeds this afternoon as Scaup was on
offer along with BN Grebe and Slav which I had yet to connect with this year.
The Scaup (apparently a 2cy male) was visible out in the harbour but was
frankly disappointingly distant and mostly asleep. Also in the harbour were
Mergs, GC Grebe, LT Grebe, Slavs, BN Grebe and Goldeneye. Before dark I nailed
Jack Snipe at a traditional site and after dark Barn Owl and Lt Owl also fell
with relative ease before an evening in the pub!
